In 2015, the Beck Cultural Exchange Center acquired the only remaining ancestral home of Beauford Delaney, one of the most important artists of the twentieth century. Beck formally broke ground in August 2021, announcing the start of construction for the Delaney Museum.

The Delaney Museum is dedicated to sharing the history of our native son Beauford, his younger brother and fellow renowned artist Joseph, and the Delaney family.
